RIVER WATER

Visitors, campers and canoeists are warned not to drink water from the Wanganui River and it's tributaries. The warning was given by Wanganui's Medical Officer of Health, Dr K.D.B. Thomson who said that while local people knew of the danger, others from outside the area may not.
