Former Us President Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalynn paid an hour-long visit to the Army Museum at Waiouru last Monday morning before lunching in the officer's mess at the nearby Army Training Group camp. The couple were welcomed by Colonel Bruce Meldrum, Commanding Officer of the A TG, and shown around the QEII Army Museum by it's director Major Gordon Stevenson (pictured).
