TRAMPING NEWS

The Tongariro Tramping Club is to hold a 50-year celebration/reunion on Saturday 3 March. All members, past and present, are invited to share in this historic anniversary which is to be held at the Ski Life Lodge in Ohakune's Turoa Village. Most of the registrations received so far — including several from pre-war members — have been from other parts of New Zealand but reunion organiser, Brian Mosen, hopes that inore members and former members from the Waimarino area will attend the reunion of a club that was previously based in Ohakune and Raetihi. For further information write to Brian Mosen, 6 Rawhiti Road, Pukerua Bay or phone 399672 PKB.
