Lottery Funds

Councillors last Thursday agreed on the priorities of three applications that would be made to the NZ Lottery Board for Local Authority Community Facility Funds. They were: 1. Library relocation and refurbishing. 2. All-weather cover for the Raetihi swimming baths. 3. Further development of the Motor Camp. Because of the 3-month lead time for these applications to be researched and processed there was now some urgency to prepare these applications so that they could be submitted to the NZ Lottery Board before 29 February, said Mayor Workman.
