DISCRIMINATORY?
The Raetihi Bowling Club reports that the advertisements they've been running recently for a 'Fun Day Tournament on 4 February etc ... no whites' appear to have been interpreted by some readers as racially discriminatory! What was meant, we are assured, is that the club did not require members to wear the formal white clothes usually associated with the game of bowls.
