YOUTH AID OFFICER APPOINTED

Waiouru Constable Dave Glendinning has been appointed Police Youth Aid Officer for Waiouru. In addition to his normal police work Constable Glendinning now has responsibility for all police matters involving youths in Waiouru. This work was previously handled by a Constable from Taihape but to improve efficiency it was felt it would be better to have a Waiouru constable taking care of youth-related problems in that town.
