TUMBLERS OPEN DAY
Turoa Tumblers' first 'Open Morning' proved to be very popular with approximately 80 local children of all ages who swung, hung and flung themselves on and off the equipment with the dismounting pit proving to be the highlight for both youngsters and adults! As a result $70 was raised for the Cancer Society. A number of club members achieved various badge levels in recent tests by the Wanganui/ Manawatu Gymnastic Association for Grade 1 to elite level at Ohakune recently. Pass lists Grade 1 Scott Wise, Warwick Hays, Stephen Olds, Sam Neilson, Shaun McLean, Todd Wise, Galen Bergersen, Rhys . Langdon, Allan Harvey, Kirsty Duigan, Caroline Haack, Louise Penny, Kirsty Mcllroy, Emma Cornwall, Erika Harrison. Grade 11 Kenneth Mcllroy, Jake Irwin, Pierre Todd, Guy Kennedy, Tama Potaka, James Foster, Mark Olds, Phillip Eades, Anna Dobson, Heather Eades, Fiona Evans. Iron Glenn Irwin, Stephen Brown, Glenn McLean, Jonathon Ritchie, Anna Chung, Cherie Young, Lee Mcllroy, Cheryl Hinana, Katie Proude. Bronze Patrick Cooper, Carys Hubbard, Cindy Langdon, Anita McDonnell, Rebecca Ritchie, Helene Dobson, Sarah Ritchie, Dawn Briggs. Silver Dean Drayton, Christina Kennedy, Fiona Ritchfield. Gold Jeffrey Drayton. Elite Tina Drayton, Suzanne Mcilroy. This represented a 75% pass rate for the club.
