Country Fair raises $800 for community projects
Approximately $800 was raised during the one-day Rotary Club Country Fair event which was held on Fraser's airstrip on Saturday 26 November. The Raetihi-Ohakune Rotary Club is most appreciative of the support it received locally and for the help it got from the many ' generous people in the Waimarino.
All itioneys raised are used to fund various projects in the area and are therefore of benefit to the local community. One such allocation of funds was a donation of $100 to the Siegfried Bauer Expenses Fund which was established following his win in the 1000 mile Cliff Young Colac race in Australia.
