Father Christmas paid a brief visit to Ohakune last week to have a look at Santa's Cave and check up on the number of children living here since his last visit a year ago so that he can be sure of bringing enough presents. He didn't want to be seen by the children he will be meeting next week but he left this photograph with the Bulletin and said he would re[?] to Santa's Cave next Saturday when he arrives in Ohakune by fire engine.
