Santa arrives in Waimarino

It's all happening in Ohakune next Saturday morning. The downtown shopping centre will stage a 'Gypsy Carnival' with a flea market, sausage sizzles, lolly scrambles, raffles ... etc. Shops will be open from 9am-12 noon and Father Christmas is expected to arrive be fire engine about mid-morning. Free children's movies will be screened at the King's Theatre during the morning. - Anyone wanting a stall in the flea market should contact Jonathon Gregg at Dalgety Crown. (Note: Father Christmas will spend part of each day in Santa 's Cave — next to the Bulletin office — during the whole of the preChristmas week. But if he's not there he will be at one of

the nearby shops or attending some function. He is hoping to spend about an

hour each morning and afternoon in the Cave below to meet the children.)
