Police house moved
No longer does Raetihi have a second police house ... it was uplifted and relocated in Ohakune last week. After detaching it from its foundations on Monday it was transported to Ohakune last Tuesday by Brittons of Wanganui. Due to wet weather and soggy ground conditions it couldn't be taken onto the site — behind the other two police houses in Rata Street — until Wednesday.
