Tumbler news
So far 227 children from the Waimarino have experienced the exercises, disciplines and skills of the activity known as 'gymnastics' With the Turoa Tumblers since the club was formed in June 1978. Currently with a membership of 80, the club is unable to accept everyone who wants to join. They have two waiting lists ... one for children whose parents are able to help with coaching and one for children with parents who can't. Children are taken from the top of each list alternately at the beginning of each year. For those children wishing to join, the age on intake ranges from those who have attended school for at least one term, to 10 years of age unless special circumstances prevail. There is no upper age limit ... Tumblers can ^^nrain with the club for as ^^ong as they want. Warren Scott who will be 15 next month is the oldest club member.
