Young ballet graduates

Pictured above are young graduates from Waiouru in the "Scholars of the Operatic Ballet" Educational section. They are, from left, Bridget Cottrell, Tieneka Cameron (Honours), Powley Otene, Bridget Duncan (Honours) and Caroline Haami. Their ages range from 6-8. The girls attend ballet classes after school every Tuesday when visiting ballet teacher, Mrs Wilson from Taihape, holds classes in Waiouru. The children are now preparing a special performance as a grand finale to end a year's hard work.
