Giant Auction next Saturday

The Giant Auction to be held next Saturday 12 November by local Anglicans at St. Marv's Hall. Raetihi will be one of the more interesting events of this year, stated the Reverend R.L. Peck, Vicar today. ^Fr. Peck said that the |^wtion will beginat 10a.m. We usual stalls wil) be there, providing for those who wish to purchase sweets and cakes, plants and other items.

Already, numerous items have been donated for the Auction, many of these being almost new. These include one nearly new washing machine, one nearly new double mattress, 21" black and white TV (in . working condition) and innumerable records and books etc. A door-to-door visit will be made this week, to seek out donations to the auction. Those who have

items they wish picked up before then should contact the Vicar in Raetihi or Mrs Josie Turner in Ohakune. All residents of the Waimarino are invited to be present at the auction which starts at 10 a.m. when auctioneer Mr John Compton of Dalgety's will start the bidding.
