Tast-a-rama treat

The Ruapehu College F.T.A. are planning to hold an evening with a difference for the parents and staff of the college. The function — called a 'Tast-a-rama' will take the form of a B.Y.O. foodtasting evening and will be held in the Senior Studies^ Block on Friday 28 October starting at 8pm. Each couple attending will be expected to bring a sample of their favourite dish and a copy of the recipe so that other people who enjoy the recipe can take

note of it. It is hoped to make this a fun evening and a chance for staff and parents to get together on an informal basis. This is not a fund-raising venture but a small charge of 50 cents will be made to cover costs. College parents and teachers are asked to bring their own plates and glasses as well as their favourite recipe and a bottle of wine for what promises to be an enjoyable evening of sharing new taste sensations.
