Civic Pride Award presented

Mother and daughter team Bea and Dorothy Barnes have been officially recognised for the 'tremendous work 'they did in organising the art awards exhibition during the August Scene week. They are pictured in their craft shop receiving their Civic Pride certificate from Ohakune 's Public Relations Officer MrWayne Dashfield. Mrs Bea Barnes said she and her daughter were proud to accept the award on their own behalf as well as on behalf of the committee they worked with in organising the exhibition.
