New life for hall
The newly appointed National Park Community Hall committee held their first meeting last week. The following matters were discussed and resolved. • The exterior of the building is to be renovated and painted. • Window panes and frames to be renewed at a cost of $60 ... John Bowring has since fitted these. • The key to the Hall will be held by Kevin Murcott. • Charges: A fee of $25 will be levied for functions involving alcoholic beverages. For functions without alcoholic beverages a fee of $15 will be charged. For meetings of clubs, committees etc. a charge of $3 will be made. • A sum of $36.75 has been allowed for cleaning.
