When is a Flaycentre not a Flaycentre? When it is a death trap. I am writing to express concern at the lack of proper and adequate fencing at the National Fark Flaycentre and the apathetic attitude by those who are in a position to rectify the problem. To my knowledge the fence 'felF down approximately two years ago through decay and lack of maintenance. The situation that faces mothers now is that toddlers have unrestricted access to the National Fark mill and I feel that it will only be a
matter of time before a serious accident occurs involving one of the local children who uses the Flaycentre. Farents of the children have volunteered their labour to construct a new fence to meet the safety requirements that are expected of all Flaycentres but are continually faced with the question of who is responsible for the cost factor — the mill whose property borders the Flaycentre or the National Flaycentre body. I wish to stress to those who are responsible should face up to their responsibilities before it is too late as our children are our future and it is our obligation as parents to take the necessary measures to ensure that they have a future.
