Exhibition of paintings
Mount Maunganui watercolour artist Katherine Madill is again exhibiting her work at the Taihape Gallery in Hautapu Street this year. The paintings, using a technique combining broad washes of translucent colour
overlaid with finely detailed brush work, includes such varied subject matter as child studies, native flora and fauna and some fanciful themes. The exhibition opens thi^ week until 30 October.
