The seven unsuccessful applicants were: Te Whakaarotahi Kohanga Reo, Turoa Tumblers, Ruapehu College Old Boys, Waimarino Mens Hockey Club, Ohakune School Committee. Ohakune Railway Ambulance, Ohakune Free Kindergarten.
