21st September Final of Championships Silver Fat Burns and Grace Geraghty fought a 'right-royaF battle all day. At lunch-time after 18 holes Fat was 1 up. After 36 holes the game was all square and finished on the 39th hole with a win to Fat. Bronze I June O'Neill and Jill Martin played their final. After 18 holes June was 3 up and regained her title on the 34th hole. Bronze II Between Rosalie Goile and Josie Turner over 1 8 holes. At half-way they were all square, Rosalie won on the 17th hole.
The Woollett Trophy was played between Ann Newby and Margaret Brown finishing on the 20th hole with a win to Margaret. 28th September 7th FadiesGolf Union winner Jan Taylor (silverspoon) also 3rd par round winner Jan Taylor(silverspoon). Raffle Betty Strachan, Two's Jan Taylor, 9 holers three Ann Roke. Handicap reductions: H. Woollett 22/21; V. Whale 33 /32; I. Farr 36/34.
