Waimarino Spring Show

This Thursday (22 September) will see the annnual Waimarino Spring Show staged again in the Raetihi Frimary School Hall. Organised by the Raetihi Garden Club and the Waimarino Floral Art Group the displays of single blooms and flower arrangements will be open to the public from 1.30 - 4.00pm.

"It's a local show for local people^ and is open to everyone who has a flower in their garden", said Raetihi Garden Club president Mrs Maru. Anyorte who wishes to participate should bring their bloom or floral arrangement to the school hall either on Wednesday evening or early Thursday morning.

Judging by Mrs Una Hawken of Wanganui starts at 10.00 and the entriesmust be in before then. In addition to the flower displays there will be a number of trading tables and afternoon tea will be provided by the Raetihi Flunket Group as part of their fund-raising activities.
