Whoops!

Readers may have noticed that we had our dateline wrong last week ... it was not Tuesday 6 August 1983. In fact there is no such date since 6 August was a Saturday. It should of course have been Tuesday 6th September 1983. But it was our 1 4th edition ... at least we got that right! We can't even claim that it was a 'eomputer error' - even

though we are a eomputer typesetter - nor a 'deliberate mistake' to test the perception of our readers. It was simply a human error. And, just in case you notice a mixture of different type styles in this edition of the Bulletin, it's because we are in the process of changing our ■eomputer typesetter. We are phasing out the Compugraphic Editwriter —

which has been used for the first 1 4 editions and phasing in an AM Varityper. Which brings us to the second "whoops!". Since the Bulletin began publication, we've had the paper finished for delivery through the Ruapehu region by Tuesday afternoon. Because of an accident with the typesetter, we're a day late with deliveries this week.
