You ask the questions ...we'll get the answers

Readers, here's your chance to find out what you want to know

In a few weeks time, local body elections will take place. In the Bulletin's area this covers Raetihi and Ohakune Borough Councils, Waimarino County Council and the Waiouru Community Council, the Taumarunui County Council and the National Fark Community Council. We also have representatives on the Rangitikei Wanganui Catchment Board, King Country Electric Fower Board, Wanganui Rangitikei E'lectric Fower Board and the Wanganui Hospital Board. We would like readers to write to us asking questions of the representatives and candidates for these various bodies.

Because of lack of candidates in some cases, all those nominated have automatically been declared elected. Even in those cases we think it is worthwhile to put your questions so that you have an indication of howC your problem may be handled. . Your concern may relate to powerchanges, clogged rivers, maintenance of county roads, staffing at the hospital or whatever. As long as it relates to the area of responsibility of any of the above organisations we'd like to hear your questions. ■ In turn we will put your queries to the people who will, or hope to, represent your interest over the next three years. Your questions and

theiraoswers will be published in our 4 October edition. Don't hold back. Here's your chance to learn what attitudes and views these people hold on various subjects involving the community in which you live. Flease write in as early as you can, but not later than Friday 23 September, so that we have time to get the answers you want. Write to: Election Questions C/- Waimarino Bulletin F.O. Box 122 Ohakune Or drop your list of questions into the Bulletin office at 54 Clyde Street, Ohakune.
