Public meeting of mountain clubs well attended
A public meeting was held in the Iwikau Shelter at. the Top o' the Bruce on Saturday evening 3 September. The meeting was convened by Tongariro National Park staff to give the various ski and mountain clubs an opportunity to meet the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Mr Tony Phillips, and ask questions of the Chief Ranger, Mr Bruce Jefferies. Representatives from about 30 clubs attended the meeting.
