Racing with Bully
The new season is well under way now and as usual at this time of the year, Riccarton holds centre court. I expect the strong northern contingent to win more than its share, so my advice to you all is to sort them out and stick with them. At Auckland on the 13th watch out for Oakdale if he gets a heavy track. He just is not the
same horse on an easy track or better. Our Dae could also get some expenses at this meeting. AnOther who is well thought of up north is Ellenell, and being a filly by Indian Order, soft going will be her forte. In the Central, Districts, Taranaki races on Friday and I like the chances of Irish Charger and Mechanical at this meeting. One for the ladies to watch in this area is Danos at his next start. Trained at Wanganui he has been getting through some pretty impressive track work and is just about ready to salute the judge. So for this weekend my top picks will be both at Riccarton . . . Kirrason and Star Quality. Remember, Bully tips them first and you read it in the Bulletin.
