President reports varied pony club season

The past season was successful and varied. Ten rallies were held with an average attendance of fifteen. Several events were shared with the Waiouru Pony Club including a Games Day, Dressage Day, One Day Event, Hunter Trials and Gymkhana. An adult gymkhana was also held which was a great success. Members also visited local shows, sports days and one day events, rode at the picnic races and hunted. Instructors attended training courses. Rides were given to children in the community on at least two occasions. "D" certificates were earned by L. Swarbrick, J. Briggs, M. Eades, J. Wilde, T. Taylor and D. Tebay. "C" certificates by M. Edwards and N. Tebay. Ohakune Branch cups were presented as follows: Attendance: N. Tebay Grooming Gear: 12 and under: N. Tebay. 13 and over: L. Swarbrick. Junior Horsemanship : M. Eades. Most Improved Rider -Junior: J. Briggs. Senior: H. Cooper. Special thanks go to all club officials who worked so hard for the club.
