Sunbeam granted licence

Sunbeam Restaurant and Ski Lodge, Ohakune, was granted a liquor licence last week. The result of 5 years hard work by owner's Mike and Bonnie Bramley, granting of the licence "is a great step forward" they said. A lot of work has been done on the property since it was purchased by the Bramley's in 1978. The new bar and lounge and extended restaurant make extensive use of natural wood. A full background on Sunbeam Lodge and its early days as the Sunbeam Club will appear in next week's Bulletin.
