Turoa Tumblers do it again... only more so!

The Turoa Tumblers had their most successful competition weekend ever when they travelled to the Wellington open Gymnastic Championships at Taita on the 18th and 19th June. Turoa Tumbler coach Glyn Hubbard of Ohakune reports that the results are the best achieved in any competition so far and described it as "a great way to start a new season". In 1982 Turoa Tumblers gained 13 placings as well as 1 gold and 2 bronze from the 8 gymnasts who competed. This year the Tumblers gained 19 placings with 2 golds and 1 silver from the 7 gymnasts who competed.
