Ohakune Plunket News

» A meeting of the new Plunket committee was held on the 15th June at Laureen Hayes' home. The committee would like to thank very much all those people who helped support plunket by buying recipe books. There are still more available at $4.50ea for those who missed out. Contact D. Pascoe Ph. 682. Also, support of the local business community with advertising in the new recipe books was much appreciated. Reminder of facilities available: Puzzle Library - is open every Friday from 2pm -4pm at the Plunket j^fcoms. Membership is an BPtial cost of $2 and gives access to puzzles as often as you wish. Mothers - please

use this educational and enjoyable opportunity for your children. Hire of Nursery Equipment - there is now available from the Ohakune branch:- 1 portable cot - $1.50 per day or $6.00 per week. We hope to purchase more equipment in the near future. Contact B. Cole ph 575. Coming event - Plunket Cake Stall, July 23rd (Saturday) at Primary School Flea Market. The forthcoming Cake Stall will provide mothers with an opportunity to try out those new recipe books. All contributions from mothers using Plunket facilities would be really appreciated and can be given to Teryl Nation of Clyde Street, Ohakune.
