Pony Club Report
The final day for the 1982/83 season of the Waimarino Pony Club was held on Sunday May 8th 1983 f ollowing the postponement from the previous day due to wet weather. The day started with a fancy dress competition, with Mr Gary McKenzie in the unenviable position of judge as the costumes were many aird varied and all very good. Gongratulations to all and the winners were: lst Nicola Tebay on Pepper - Arabian Lady. 2nd Maria Fredrickson on Amber Lee - Wonder Worrian. 3rd Donovan Morris and PepeO Jones - An Accident. 4th Lisa Hagley on Buddy -A Mexican. Games followed, interrupted by. a lutnch break, and included shopping races, obstacle jumps and a lollie scramble. Part of the itinerary was the prizegiving and eups and certificates were presented by Mr Bob Tod, our Patron, as follows:
