Everything is very quiet just now, the almost total collapse ot the gum trade being the only topic of onversation, Gum has fallen in price faUv fifty per cent during the past three months, and for the matter of that may be said to be practically unsaleable at any price. The liev Mr Blight held Divine Service in the School building on Sunday the sth inst.., hut owing to insufficient notice the attendance was not ns large as could be deBired. It was the intention to bold Service fortnightly hut on Mr McLeod arriving from Redhill for that purpose on Sunday last, neither himself nor the people attending coold obtain admission to the building.
