PARLIAMENTARY.
The session is expected to come to_ an end about the beginning of next month. The order paper has been purged of several Bills. Mr Seddon has taken up the duties of Native Minister, and. Mr Caclman has re-entered the Cabinet as Minister of Justice and Mines ; the latter refused to again take over the duties of the Native office. Mr Seddon's fitness for the office is very much called into question. The. Vehicle Licensing Bill has been made applicable to all districts instead of being confined to North Auckland only. The third reading of the Electoral Bill, which carries with it womanhood suffrage passed the Upper House by two votes. It has still to pass through a vote in the Lower House.
