The Children’s Skating Carnival in the Dargaville Hall last week passed off very pleasantly and was numerously attended by young and old. Mr Raj'lies had spared no trouble in decorating the Hall for the reception of the gay young throng, and the sight which presented itself in the opening grand march was one of real pleasure. Boys—Best dressed, A, Horspool ; Most original, W. McDowell ; Most ridiculous, J. Passed. Master B» Baynes then showed his remarkable skill on the rollers amidst the admiration and applause of all, Skating and dencing filled up the time till past midnight when tive latest made their departure well pleased with the evening’s entertainment.
