N' OTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon the Hobson County Council by 1 The Public Works Act 1882 ’ and the amendments thereto, the said Council have by reso'ution confirmed the decision of a meeting of Ratepayers of the Okahu Riding that the portions of roads described in the Schedule hereunder be - STOPPED.’ Therefore notice is hereby given that the said portions of roads are hereby * STOPPED ’ and that hereafter, and for all time, the said portions of roads shall cease to be ‘ Public Highways SCHEDULE. NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Hobson Counter Council, under theprovisions of “The Public Works Act 1882,” and “ The Public Works ActslSS2Amendment Act 1889 ” to STOP portions of roads between Sections 45 and S. li. Pt. 67 Parish of Arapohue Sections 68 and 15 S W and S M. of 47 Arapohue Parish, Sections 68 and N W pt 47 Arapohue Parish, and Section N M pt of 47 and S M and N W portions of 47 Arapohue Parish and to open up another road in lieu thereof. A plan of the portions of roads intended to beJSTOPPED, (coloured green) and of the road to be opened will be on view at the Council Chambers, Aratapu, and at the Post Office Mititai, for four weeks from the date hereof, All objections to the STOPPING of the aforementioned portions of roads must be in writing and left at this office within the four weeks aforesaid.
