Messrs T. Jordan and J. E. MeV Calwell have been re-elected representatives of the Wellington Education Board on the Wairarapa Secondary Schools Board.
Mr. F. Bourke, of Pahiatua, has been engaged by the Wanganui Choral Society as soloist for the society’s twonights’ festival in June. Mr. Bourka gave a rvml.er of vocal items at the St. Patrick’s concert in Masterton last evening.
The following nominations have been received for office in the Wairarapa Caledonian Society: President, Mr. L. Clark; vice-presidents, Messrs J. W. Henderson and D. F. Mackay; honorary treasurer, Mr. J. Kerslake; directors, Messrs J. Walker, W. J. Campbell, W. Douglas, D. A. Pickering, E. D. McLachlan, T. S. Arcus, A. S. Rigg, lan Cameron and T. B. Braggins. At its annual meeting the Old Boys Fooiba’l Club elec'.ed the following officers for the ensuing year: Patron, Dr. Uttley; president, Mr. E. L. Holmwood; vice-presidents, Messrs G. Wilson, P. Cooper, N. McKay, H. P. Perry; management committee, Messrs A. Graham, G. McAllister, K. Gillon, L. Smith; club captain, A. Graham; treasurer, Mr. L. Smith; secretary, Mr. L. Williams; club delegates, Messrs Wilson, Holmwood and Jones.
