SATURDAY HALF-HOLIDAY.
MEETING OF SUPPORTERS. LARGE ENROLMENTS SECURED. A well-attended meeting of Saturday half-holiday supporters was held last night in the Trades’ Hall. Various committee reports were discussed and adopted. The names of three hundred new voters were handed in by the enrolment committee, who feel confident
that Saturday will be retained by a larger majority than previously. It was decided to meet again in the Y.M.C.A. Rooms next Thursday night at 7.30, when further details in connection with the campaign will be dealt with.
