PEBIODICAL TRANSFER SUGGESTED.

PAHIATUA, March 14. The Bush Dairy Factories’ Association at a meeting decided that suggestions be forwarded to the Director of the Dairying Division that it would be in the interests of the industry if tho members of the instruction and inspeetion officers’ division were periodically transferred to different districts. The association resolved to sirpport the proposal of the Manawatu Association to make representations to the Minister of Agriculture and Customs protesting against the proposals to impose heavy duties on New Zealand bacon and pork imported into Australia.—(P.A.)
