The Ladies 1 Swimming Association intends to apply to the Amateur International Swimming Federation to have Miss Davies’s time, 3mins 54 4-ssecs., in Saturday’s three hundred yards swim recorded as a world’s record. The present record of 3mins 58 2-ssecs. stands to the credit of Miss Ederle (Brisbane). —(P.A.).
