LONDON EXPERTS’ VIEWS. REQUIREMENTS OF TRADE SUITED. Tho following is the London report an the pigs judged at the Carterton Show and Wellington: Th 6 quality ot the pigs in this show was excellent, and was very favourably commented upon by all who saw them. The dressing and condition generally was very creditable, only in a few cases the earcases had rather a stale appearance. The weights were quite suited to tho requirements of the English pork trade.

Pen No. 775, Arch. Hawke, Ist place (2nd Carterton, Ist Wellington—Two splendid pigs, well bred, full of meat, and not too fat. In our opinion the most suitable for the English market. Pen No. 781 b, H. R. Renall, 2nd plac.e—Two very good pigs, well bred, full of meat, and not too fat N

Pen No. 781 d, P. Bain, 3rd place— Two good pigs, well bred, full of meat, and not too fat.

Pen No. 781 c, P. Bain, 4th place (sth Carterton, 2nd Wellington)—Two very useful pigk, well bred, full of meat.

Pen 'No. 778, Daysh Bros. sth place (Ist Carterton). —Two goon pigs; rather on the heavy side.

Pep, No. 781 a, H. R. Renall, 6th place.—Useful pigs, slightly off colour. Pen No. 776, R. N. Palmer, 7th place —Quite useful, slightly off colour. Pen No. 777, W. H. Bubb, Sth place —Useful pigs, slightly off colour. Pen No. 781, W. S. Shirteliffe, 9th place (3rd Carterton, 3rd Wellington) -—Useful pigs, slightly off colour. Baconerg. Ron No. 776, W. C. Deller, Ist place (3rd Carterton)—A very good pig, well bred, full of meat, and not too fat. Pen No. J 67, W. C. Deller, 2nd place (3rd Wellington).—A very good pig, but inclined to be a trifle fat and wasteful.

Pen No. 768, W. D. Fisher, 3rd place (Ist Carterton, Ist Wellington).—A very good, well conditioned pig, full of meat, and not too fat.

Pen No. 770, 4th place (2nd Carterton). —A very good pig, full of meat, and not tpo fat.
