FLIGHT TO BRAZIL.
DE BEIRES AT BOLAMA. LISBON", March 13.. Major de Beires, Portuguese aviator, in the seaplane Argus, was forced to land at an island thirty miles from Bolama, Portuguese Guinea, owing to defective light. He did not succeed in taking off at Bolama till the eighteenth attempt, after spending hours in jettisoning fuel to lighten the seaplane. H'e will shortly attempt again the flight to Brazil.—(A. and N.Z.).
