BUILDING SOCIETIES.
DIRECTORS MEET. WORKERS’ MUTUAL BENEFIT NO. 1. A meeting of directors of the Workers’ Mutual Benefit No. 1 Society was held last evening. There were present: Messrs R. Krahagen (chairman), G. Hyde, H. O. Fowles, and T. S. Cresswell.
The treasurer reported a credit bal> ance of £1530 Ils 7d.
The report of the valuation committee recommending a property for an advance of £3OO was adopted. Accounts amounting to ‘£9 were passed for payment. NO. 2 SOCIETY. At a meeting of the No/2 “Society, there were present: Messrs B. Krahagen (chairman), G. Hyde, H. O. Fowles, R. J. Briden, J. A. Russell, A. H. Eddy anti T. S. Cresswell. A credit balance of £3131 12s Od was reported by the treasurer. A sum of £216 17s Od was received, being balance owing on loan in regard to two shares held by a shareholder, the amount to be held in trust until another security was submitted to the directors.
An application for two shares was granted, and the transfer of a shareholder’s subscriptions on two shares to the redemption account was approved. Accounts amounting to £ll 7s were passed for payment.
