RIFLE SHOOTING.
MASTERTON-OPAKI CLUB. SECOND FIELD DAY. The Masterton-Opaki Rifle Club held the second field day for the club championship on Saturday. E. Wrigley (4) won the short range aggregate by consistent shooting, notching 45 each at 300, 500 and 600 yards; V. Donald (scr.) was only one point behind. The long range aggregate was won by F. Shaw (5) 88 and G. Hood (scr.) was second. The grand aggregate was w r on by F. Shaw, 224, with G. Hood, 220, second. The club championship resulted in a popular win for G. Hood, with a total of 432; E. Wrigley was a close second with 428. Detailed results are as follows:— SHORT RANGE AGGREGATE.
