OAKLEY AND BOSE SUCCESSFUL. AT WELLINGTON MEETING. WELLINGTON, March 12. At the athletie electric night sports meeting, in cycling Grose (Canterbury) was beaten by Oakley (Masterton) by half a length in the 5 mile Wellington championship. Time, 13mins 13 2-5 secs.

R. A. Rose won the mile in 4mins. 25secs, equal to Savidan’s time at the New Zealand championships. Miss Mantan ran the 120 yards in 14 2-ssecs, the fastest time recorded for the distance by a lady in New Zealand. The attendance was 4^00.— (P.A.).
