FEILDING SALE.
YOUNG EWES SELL WELL. FEILDING, March 11. Fifteen thousand sheep were yarded at the Feilding sale to-day, mainly breeding ewes, store wethers, and ' a fair proportion of lambs. Young ewes sold particularly well and showed an advance of 2/ to 3/ on late rates, while older ewes sold freely. Fat lambs, 18/10 to 24/; fat wethers, 20/6 to 25/; fat ewes, 15/9 to 23/; 2-th ewes, good, 28/6; medium, 23/ to 25/; four and .six-tooth, 17/3 to 19/1; store ewes, 6/9; four and five year ewes, 12/6 to 18/6; s.m. ewes, 12/1; two-tooth wethers, 17/0 to 22/; b.f. rape kfmbs, good, 17/3 to 19/1; medium, 16/ to 17/6; inferior, 11/ to 14/; w.f. wether lambs, 14/; two-shear Romney rams, to £3 3/; two-tooth S.D. rams, £4 4/ to £lO 10/; four-tooth do, £3 3/ to £6 6/; f.m. do., £2 2/ to £4 4/; four and five-year Hereford bullocks, £7; do P,A., £7 11/; 3 and 4-year S.H.steers, poor, £5 15/; 3 and 4-year PA. bullocks (p), £6 17/6; two, and th>eo-year Hereford cross steers, £5; three and four-year S.H. cross steers, £6 17/. —(P.A.).
