AUTUMN FLOWERS

CARTERTON SHOW. . FINE DISPLAY OF BLOOMS. THE PRIZE LIST. (“The Age” Special.) There was a particularly fine display of flowers, vegetables and fruit at the autumn show of the Carterton Horticultural Society yesterday. Artistic work was shown in the home Industries and decorative sections? The attendance of the public was good, and the indefatigable efforts of the committee and the secretary ensured the success that was attained. The Alfred Booth Memorial Cup, presented by Mr. and Mrs. W. HenryBooth, was competed for for the first time, and was won by Mr. J. Candy, of Masterton. Following is the prize list:—
