MAURICEVILLE SPORTS.
TO-DAY’S MEETING. Amateur athletic enthusiasts are reminded of the annual meeting to be held to-day, on Mr. A. E. Clark’s property, of tho Mauriceville District Sports Club. A most attractive programme of events has been arranged, including horse events, foot events, motor car competitions, ladies’ events, chain-stepping, children’s races, tug-of-war, sheep guessing and a pig chase. Hot water will be available free of charge. A particularly enjoyable time is promised those who attend. It is confidently anticipated that the attendance of the public will be a record.
