FLOWER SHOW TO-DAY.
GOOD ENTRIES. CHOICE EXHIBITION OF FLOWERS PROMISED. A choice exhibition of autumn fierwers will be on view at the Municipal Hall this afternoon and evening on the occasion of the seventeenth annual sutumn show of the Masterton Horticultural Society, Particularly good competition is promised in the home industries section, and a good array of fancy work and pot plants will be exhibited. Decorated tables will be a feature of the show.
The Lansdowne Orchestra, under the baton of Mr. Noble, has been engaged to play during the evening. Matters •are well in hand for the various competitions, two lambs, a cake, and a fine cushion having been donated for the purpose. The afternoon tea arrangements, as usual, will be in the capable hands of the ladies’ committee. It is confidently expected that the attendance of the public will be most liberal, especially in the evening when a musical treat is in store for those who attend.
