AMUSEMENTS.

COSY THEATRE.

-Since the days when Conan Doyle invented the name of Sherlock Holmes there has hardly been a character of fiction who has become such a household word. But now a new writer looms on the l.prizon, with another mystery' solver. It is “Bulldog Drummond,’’ who bids fair to oust the nimble-witted Sherlock in the language as a solver of mysteries. Every story from the pen of “Sapper’’ has a thrill and “The Third Round,’.’his latest Bulldog Drummond story which is in picture form at the Cosy Theatre to-night, is one of his greatest thrillers that have appeared. Jack Buchanan, a star of the famous Chariot’s Revue, who has been signed by De Mille, is the star, and Betty Faire, well-known and beautiful star of the English stage and shrdlu shrdlu w leading lady. There is an entertaining list of supports. Book at Henderson’s. OPERA HOUSE. In “College Days,’’ as in that, comedy classic, “Grandma’s Boy,”. Harold Lloyd has taken a very serious idea. “College Days’’ puts over the psychology of being yourself, in a story of a iirst-year student at college whose sole ambition is to ibe the pride of his college and the idol of his fellow-stud-ents. But instead of achieving this ivorthy pinnacle by himself, he imitates others who have been popular.' Harold Lamb, as the character is named, is a pathetic figure, so that, even while you laugh at him you are filled with sympathy for him, and when he finally triumphs you want to 1 join the whole college in cheering him. “College Days’’ is playing now at the Opera House, where it remains until Friday. Also added attraction of Wee Jackie Clark for Wednesday and Thursday only, in songs, impersonations and dances. Box plan at Henderson’s.
