FAMILY ENDOWMENT.

AN AUSTRALIAN CONFERENCE. SYDNEY, March 1. Cabinet has accepted an invitation from the Federal Government to send a repreesntative to attend a conference of State Ministers in June to discuss the national scheme of family endowment outlined in Mr. Bruce’s policy speech prior to the last Federal elections.

The Select Committee appointed by the Legisltaive Council to deal Lang’s Child Endowment Bill has commenced its sittings.— (P.A.)
